Prabodha Sumanasekera

Probodha is now at the helm of VS Group operations. He pioneered the private sector owned hydropower projects in Sri Lanka. Coupled with extensive experienced and technical expertise in the field, he successfully ventured into projects outside Sri Lanka to Nepal, Uganda, Tanzania and many other countries. A visionary leader and under his guidance first ever Turbine manufacturing plant has been successfully established in the country . Prabodha is a Graduate of University of Colombo.

Nishan Mahanama

Nishan is an Investment Banker and an Electrical Engineer by profession. He overlooks the strategic investment decisions in the group. Nishan has more than a decade experience in Project Finance and was Head of Project Finance in Private Sector Infrastructure Dev. Company Limited (PSIDC), a company established under the auspices of the World Bank, before taking up the current position in VS Group. Nishan holds an Engineering Degree from
University of Moratuwa.

Priyanga Gunasekera

Priyanga is the Director/CEO of the VSIS. He has more than 20 years of experience in the ICT sector. and has a history of undertaking difficult projects and assignments and making them a success. Started his career as Systems Engineer and later moved into strategic business management giving leadership to nationally important projects in the fields of Banking, Transport and Government. Priyanga has graduated from University of Colombo with a degree in Computer Science.

Prasanna Wijeratne

Prasanna is a Director of VSIS and took the initiative to establish the ICT sector companies under VS Group. He has more than 18 years of experience in ICT sector. Prasanna has a rare skill of excelling in both sales and technology. He is one of those pioneering members who worked in multitude of large ICT systems spanning from legacy Unix to RedHat Unix. He has successfully positioned and deployed some of the largest HP Server and Storage installations in Sri Lanka. He is a Graduate from University of Colombo with a degree in Physical Science.

Saman Silva

Saman is a director of the VSIS. He has more than 15 years of experience in the ICT sector specially in the areas of Project Management, logistics and large tenders. Under his guidance , many multimillion rupee ADB funded public sector projects were successfully implemented. He took the initiative to introduce the “multiservice computing” concept as part of CSR project to remote schools in Sri Lanka. Saman is a Graduate from University of Colombo with a degree in Physical Science.

Kithsiri Gunasekara

Kithsiri is a Director of VSIS and has more than 20 years of experience in Information and Communication Technology. He has successfully established one the leading System Integration companies in the country before joining VSIS. Under his guidance, many innovative and complex technological projects have been implemented in the country for Government, Telecom and Commercial Customers. He has architected of some of the largest Cisco and EMC projects. Kithsiri is an Engineering Graduate from University of Moratuwa.

Kaushala Lankadhikara

Kaushala is a director of VSIS with experience in diverse roles in the IT Systems Integration. He held the role of the CTO of a local Systems Integrator, a regional consultant for DELL and was instrumental in the deployment of SLT PeoTV as the DGM of Information Systems and Value Added Services. His expertise in technology adoption and business management has enabled many top tier companies to achieve business excellence with optimal use of ICT. Kaushala holds an Engineering degree from University of Peradeniya.
